20 years ago today my best friend and I exchanged vows and signed a piece of paper that said the State of California was ok with us sleeping together. She was carrying tulips my dad had bought that morning at the farmers market. These happy buds were growing in a neighbors yard this morning.

Our country is being systematically destroyed, which leads me to two questions:
- How can we stop this and fix the damage done?
- If we can't, how do we best prepare for what comes next?

In one day, Trump announced tariffs that have wiped an estimated $2 trillion from the stock market and fired numerous National Security Council officials based on info from a far right internet personality. He's really proving that Republicans are crap at both the economy and security.

Can someone explain to me how Trump taking tax-payer dollars and buying random crypto-currencies and calling it a "strategic reserve" isn't just a scam to steal tax-payer dollars?

What's it gonna take for everyone to realize the occupant of the white house is fundamentally anti-American?

The news is so bad right now that I'd rather go clean out and organize my garage. But since I just did that yesterday, I'll have to find some other distraction.

My wife and I were just talking about how it kinda feels like the time right as the pandemic was getting started; we knew something bad was coming, but we didn't know what exactly. We've got the same feeling today.
