She's made the rounds on tumblr recently making a thousand note post in which she says she was Hot Allostatic Loaded and did nothing wrong actually and the notes were full of young trans girls going "I'm sorry, I should have known these bitches were lying". She had quite a following there now.

If she can't keep her story straight for small things, then why believe her on the big ones? She should at least post the FBI letter in a non-blurry and artefact-ridded photo. We all need to remain skeptical and think clearly.

Considering the panic her claims have stirred I don't think it's unreliable to want to at least verify them. The article isn't a reliable source, but she should at least post the letter itself, and apologize for having lied for her use of AI generated text (which isn't a problem if disclosed)

I don't think she's evil or necessarily a grifter, but I do think she might have at least exaggerated some things, considering she's doubling down on even the most verifiable claims.

Matching your tone, I think that someone who's lied about the sources for her work and doubles down on it might not be a reliable source. I don't care for the mudslinging the article does, but I think it's worth interrogating why she'd lie about something as simple as generating a Dworkin quote.

I think a lot of people are eager to jump on her for their own spurious reasons but I've actually been reading her work and am shocked at the shoddy quality of it and people spreading her work as transfeminist gospel. I think her work itself deserves criticism. She can smoke all the weed she wants.

I don't care for accusations of drug use or how she might have used money in a stressful situation. I care that her theory is unsound, that she lied about her writing and research, and is now doubling down on that specifically. The rest I know nothing sure about.

The article itself is suspect. However, have you read what she writes? She is an absolutely dreadful writer and theorist, and some of her work still contains ChatGPT prompts. She lied about using AI at all. I don't care about the article or OP but Tara's own work is terrible and her lies suspicious.

I didn't say that. But I think someone who is lazy enough to ask AI a Dworkin quote and not verify it, and then lie about it, is probably a terrible theorist and writer and not exactly a reliable person.

The article is a mess, but Tara has deliberately lied about using chatgpt to fabricate an Andrea Dworkin quote when her very post links to... chatgpt. her work is also really of questionable quality. Poorly written and argued, some obvious AI-generated prompts left in, so not a serious theorist.

the opening and the ending credits of s1 were the only time the show truly dared to experiment. and i wish it had done far more of that. the reze movie at least does feel more experimental to me.

im a fan of anime going its own way. chainsaw man season 1 wasn't doing that. and most of all it struggled to handle things like humour or gory aciton. it felt most of all *boring* instead of contemplative. it didnt try to seek inspo from say 80s slasher films or the like, just clean pretty tv.

strong disagree. the original anime fundamentally misunderstood the source material and instead of offering something new and interesting, settled for 2010s prestige tv as its sole inspiration instead of drawing upon any of the interesting influences of chainsaw man to make its own thing.

Highly rec giving the second half a chance keeping in mind that it's heavily set up by the first half + they had major production issues by the end. It's not perfect far from it, but it is SO ambitious and interesting, its emotional beats hit really hard and thematically it's v consistent

je dois dire qu'à l'adolescence, afab et présentant comme une fille, mes camarades de classes féminines ont été mes pires tortionnaires et m'ont humilié quotidiennement. les profs n'ont rien fait. c'est le manque d'action et le fait qu'on considère le harcèlement normal le problème.

j'ai aussi subi du harcèlement sexuel de la part de mes camarades de classe masculins, mais les filles ont été les pires tortionnaires envers moi. validisme, lesbophobie, et j'en passe.
