The issue is that Trump was elected twice. After an attempted insurrection. Sure, allies will be okay with rekindling those relationships, but mainly as a short-term means of easing the economic pain while new networks are built out. The US no longer looks like a reliable long-term partner.

Any real estate listing that is "as-is" AND includes the word "cavernous" is going to be a beast to refurbish and heat.

Our friend's behavior was so manic that it led Jim and I to joke that he must have thought this was a date, raising to the question of whether we wanted it to be a date, to which I said yes (lest we spend all night batting the question back & forth like the overly polite Canadians we are).

Sounds like my experience while volunteering at TIFF along with watching 4-5 movies daily for the entire festival. Amazing but exhausting!
