While I realize that the Bush 1 did invoke the Insurrection Act in 1992 LA, this is a piss-poor choice for the featured image in this news post, because it's going used as "proof" that US cities are burning.

Well since the US Congress has not declared war since 1942, I guess we can say we haven't lost any wars, post WW2.

Federalizing National Guard troops from one US state to send another other US state that is hundreds of miles away is well-established tactic for winning the Nobel Peace Prize.

Mother Teresa, Linus Pauling, and the Dali Lama used to do that shit all the time.

Things to consider:

Document the violence & violations--on camera, w/photos, saving images--any way you can. Speaking as a historian- it will matter

Point out violations--w/images & text--even if you think it won't matter. It will. It needs to be called out & exposed

You are a witness.
Expose it.

Agree with this and I also suggest that you add meaningful metadata—captions, keywords, etc.—that will allow you to find photos/videos in the near, or distant future.

Your photo library will likely some descriptors, that may or may not be useful. Don't rely on the metadata from Apple & Microsoft.

Nice that a judge told him he can't; however not much prevents disregarding the order.

Or for him to send equivalent number of armed personnel, from other federal departments (see Portland 2020).

Or for him to issue another fake-ass emergency declaration.
