At the least maybe a few less people would've voted for him.
And maybe the Supreme Court would've been forced to reveal themselves even more.
You can't say the outcome would've been the same.

I don't think doing your job should depend on what the Supreme Court might or might not do.
Immediate investigation and prosecution would have been a good way to alert the American people of the severity of Trump's actions.
Doing it later made it easier to present it as political.
