Today marks two years since Hamas’ October 7 massacre and the start of Israel’s assault on Gaza. We asked Palestinians and Jews on our team how they felt about their home then — and how they feel now. To see the full post, click here shorturl.at/msoVq

This Sukkot, our hope is that everyone across this land soon dismantle their temporary structures and find home again. May every single family soon live in permanent safety and peace.

Our National Co-director Alon-Lee Green quoted in the BBC:

“We mustn’t think that just coming back to 6 October, the day before 7 October 2023, is peace. We really need progress towards ending the occupation in the West Bank and withdrawing from Gaza.”

We cannot go on like this! The ceasefire plan on the table must be approved immediately to end the killing and destruction and return the hostages home. (2/2)

Ending this war of annihilation is the first step. After that, we must pursue a real peace agreement that guarantees that all of us can live in freedom and safety in this land.

The placards read: “complete and permanent ceasefire. Nothing less” and “ceasefire now. Release the hostages” and “stop starving Gaza”

Today we were in the city of Nazareth, Jews and Palestinians, to raise a voice for an end to this genocidal war in Gaza once and for all! We’re on the streets week after week fighting for the future of everyone on this land. We cannot stand by and let these horrors continue.

The International Federation of Journalists, founded in 1926 and celebrating its centenary in Paris in May 2026, has recorded no comparable death toll since its formation, neither during the second world war, nor in Vietnam, Korea, Syria, Afghanistan or Iraq.

Our hearts are with the victims and their families at this terrible time.
We are heartbroken to emerge from Yom Kippur into news of the attack at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation in Manchester. No one should face violence for attending synagogue services and our hearts are with the victims and their families at this terrible time.
For many in our community, this news may only just be reaching you after a day spent in prayer, reflection, and fasting. To be confronted with such awfulness in this moment is particularly painful: please know that you are not alone. In moments like this, it is vital that our communities - Jewish and non-Jewish alike hold one another close. Our safety and liberation depend on solidarity between all those who are marginalised and targeted, and we must not allow those who seek to divide us to succeed. Every person deserves to live, gather, and worship in safety and dignity. We condemn this act of violence unequivocally, and restate our commitment to building a world where this kind of horror is no longer possible.

May this Yom Kippur bring us closer to a world where all of us live with freedom, safety, and peace.

Last night we protested outside the studios of mainstream Israeli channels that refuse to show the reality in Gaza. Even now, as men, women, and children are bombed, starved, and displaced every single day by the army, the media isn’t telling the truth to the Israeli public!

Instead we must fight for true Israeli-Palestinian peace. A Palestinian state alongside Israel. Safety, justice, and freedom for everyone and independence for both peoples. Now is the time for peace, for an end to the violence, for life. (3/3)

But a deal to end the war of annihilation in Gaza and return the hostages is not enough on its own. We cannot go back to a reality of endless occupation and violence across this land. (2/3)

Any conversation about a ceasefire proposal must start with this: Palestinians in Gaza and hostages in captivity deserve to be free and safe from bombing, starvation, and suffering immediately. Any deal that brings us closer to a cessation of this intolerable reality is welcome. (1/3)

And yes, he has power, but what’s more powerful is the solidarity that thousands of us, Jews and Palestinians, have even in the darkest moments on this land. And none of us are going anywhere. (2/2)
