And it can happen in Washington, or any other state that isn't prepared to take direct action against unlawful force & rogue federal agents.

Mayors, governors, and senators need to stop merely reacting, and start using every available means to protect citizens & communities.

I know. The worst ones will always be around, doing & saying the worst - no matter what.

So we get angry & exhausted, but we keep going. You have every right to say everything you did. All I'm saying is that anger is a tool - and works best if you know when to pick it up, and when to put it down.

We're all being affected by it. And it's true that on the extreme right there's an isolated group beyond reason with no interest in dialog. But that still leaves everybody else.

So yeah, speak up and call out all the selfishness & hypocrisy & lies. But to win we've got to break the hate.

Each day it's more clear the regime in Washington is abusing power by sending federal agents & troops to communities where no emergencies exist. Crushing dissent is the real aim.

My own question is, at this point why should anyone believe he won't make up whatever excuse he wants - to do anything that suits him ?

This kind of mutual aid is absolutely necessary now, for exactly the reasons you note - Defending communities & protecting citizens.

It's coming late, after the usual hand wringing from Dems & progressives. But not too late.

Lawyers & judges cannot stop facism, when the highest court in the land serves and rewards tyranny.

But The People can.

No one should underestimate how deeply corrupted this Supreme Court really is - or think that ordinary citizens, as voters or in juries, will tolerate it for long.
