Yeah in UK. It's a cycle that happens but with scoped now in place it seems more likely. There is also the formation of the Partnership of counselling and psychotherapy bodies.

A fair question. Really, I have no idea.
It seems there is preparation for potential regulation and so people + orgs are positioning themselves using any resource that will allow them to gain closer proximity to power even if that means gatekeeping and exclusion of marginalised communities.
