I made this Violet Evergarden cosplay for Sakuracon last year.
Her skirt in this outfit is animated as more of a circle skirt but I chose to make it using a victorian walking skirt pattern as a nod to her Auto Memory Doll outfit and to keep in theme with the rest of the costume design in the show!

The shirt in the first photos was my Howl Shirt but I wanted one with long sleeves and a different neckline for Mollymauk so I made this shirt using the Edwige Blouse pattern from VikiSewsPatterns on Etsy.

All that's left to do on Mollymauk's doublet is to add the sleeve ties and seal the sleeve lining.
Potentially adding trim / embroidery on the vent seam of the sleeves but that's to be decided later. I love you my dearest Circus Man <3

I found this velvet peacock fabric at a secondhand textiles shop a while ago and instantly thought of Mollymauk. There was only about 1/2 a yard of fabric which was JUST enough to make a vest out of.
I'm still so happy with how this turned out and can't wait to complete the cosplay!
