They love to explore, and can be quite personable once they're used to handling. I keep a Spotted python, and she is by far one of my favorites to handle because of how inquisitive she is.

The 3-4 species are known as the Children's python, the Pygmy python, the Spotted python, and the Stimsons python. They are semi-arboreal that thoroughly enjoy climbing and perching on branches. They are a nocturnal species but can be found basking on occasion (my girl does it all the time!)

In my opinion, every reptile regardless if they're known basking animals like Bearded dragons, need uvb lighting. It replicates their natural need to receive it in the wild. Despite them being labeled as crepuscular or nocturnal, you'll find them basking and absorbing the light

There are SO MANY corn snakes out there who are looking for new homes. If you truly want a corn snake, I suggest getting one from someone who is looking to rehome theirs.

Now of course, I ended up getting Virgo, my corn snake pictured, as my first snake because I fell in love with his morph (still trying to fully figure out what he is). And I LOVE my guy. But many people end up buying a corn snake, then realize they didn't really want it and it gets rehomed.

My main gripe with the species is how cheap they are to buy. That entices folks to buy a snake they may or may not want. When i was doing my research and making a decision on what I wanted as my first snake, I initially didn't want something as common as them.

They are a similar length in comparison, averaging between 3 and 6 feet, but are more slender. They are fantastic eaters when you look between them and ball pythons, and they come in a good variety of colors and patterns (morphs).

While corn snakes tend to be more flighty of a species compared to the mostly sedentary ball python, corn snakes are, in my opinion, easier to maintain. With the proper enclosure size (4x2x2 minimum), overhead heat and UVB lighting, you don't need to add humidity unless they are shedding.

...after losing his beloved Anna in an attack. A truth is then revealed about dragons, and Aiden must do whatever it takes to protect the rest of those in his life he cares about from falling to the same fate. But will he be able to protect himself?

While there are DOZENS if not hundreds of different morphs (colors and patterns), not all are created equal. Many of them and many certain combinations of them result in issues, such as a wobble related to either neurological or an ear canal issue, physical issues, or even fatalities
