Also, imagine being almost 81 & being born with a couple of extremely rare genetic conditions, which led to developing 4 autoimmune conditions by age 10. I've outlived ALL the doctors' prognoses when I was a young teenager. Imagine the "memories" I've got, 8 decades of chronic pain & sickness.

Even though she didn’t win I think we all see what is happening here. Dems have largely ignored rural America which has contributed to the feeling that they are elitists. They need to start holding town halls all across rural America and rebuild that bridge of connection to these people.

Now, if the national Democratic party could just figure out how to represent its voters rather than its funders we would really have something. Sadly, this leadership continues to oppose super majorities of blue voters on big issues. So . . .

It's hard to beat a system without addressing the parts of that system. Republicans have spent decades designing a system that favors their outcomes.
