The shift continues, you can’t stop the sun from rising and setting each day and neither will the renewable momentum be stopped 🔋⚡️🌝

Kirsten presented to us on Estevan City Council when I served and lived there 14 years ago. On a side note the company I was working for was hoping to bid on the geothermal pump and waterflood disposal loop pump for this project. Our company was doing many German geothermal pumps at the time.

I will not be stepping into that country again in my lifetime if this doesn't stop, why would we ever go to a place like this?

Haven't shot images on my 📸 digital camera for 3 years but decided to end the hiatus and will be shooting photos for an Enduro Moto event tomorrow. Picked up a couple nice used Tamron lenses for my Sony a7iii today and used Bodhi as my text subject. Almost forgot how to use Lightroom for my editing😀

The fall colors look awesome, I think I've only been to Edmonton once since I left working in O&G in 2017.

Likewise, it is why for the last 3 years we have been pushing non stop for the detox & treatment side. We have safe supply, shelter, emergency shelter, village & supportive housing...just no treatment. But we have hope as TWC just opened a small space, but to last we need provincial funds.

I've enjoyed my Trek Allant #ebike for quite a while now and finally put an #electricvehicle back in the driveway with my new (used) Hyundai Kona. I'm not ready yet but soon hope to replace my Husqvarna TE300 with a Stark Varg electric dirtbike to be fully switched (our house is 100% electric too!)

I unfiortunately saw some facebook comments yesterday about this traffic snarl, kinda crazy the amount of hate being thrown at people on bikes for how quickly they got home and how the congestion blockage had no impact on them. Seriously don't hate, just try a bike yourself people for those that can

I feel this isn't being fair totally on the hybrids compared to EVs in the article. The amount of full EV I see everywhere is growing like crazy but I fully believe the rise in Hybrids is that almost any model of vehicle now has a hybrid option from manufacturers to not see their ICE sales implode.

With the rise in operational efficiencies and automation alone, those in the industry and the ones all in supporting need to read the room on coming changes. Heck when I left the O&G industry in 2017 the amount of remote monitoring & automation we were seeing/doing was rapidly growing.

The climate problem is an energy and materials problem, not a waste problem. Bikes are incredibly efficient solutions for so many people. Need to be paired with good transit and car share to actually eliminate car ownership tho.

now look at the avoided carbon between 100 small electric SUVs, and 160 e-bikes displacing 100 small electric SUVs

that's a delta of over 9,000 tons of CO2

the more e-bikes we sell the more new cars are displaced - and the more carbon is avoided. w/ massive economic & public health benefits

Absolutely, I keep saying we must avoid analysis paralysis, the single greatest trap elected local government can fall into.

I wish my reference to smart @strongtowns.org thinking was quoted in this article but I'll take the quotes that were used in our North Cowichan council meeting this week. I lost the vote against the increased rural subdivision but I was happy to at least get the affordable housing fund concessions.

This is great to see in Calgary, thanks for sharing. It has been almost 10 years since I worked downtown and this would have been a nice way to get around. (The plus 15 was always great as well)

Look at that nice shift in the weather, with the recent rains the trails will be amazing and I plan on being on either the MTB or the Moto everyday!
