Thread. We have a historic opportunity to put economic pressure on Russia
Economic news coming out of Russia this past week are one more remarkable than the other:
* The Central Bank is expected to raise the interest rate to 23% this Friday (now it is 21%)
* The construction industry is in crisis mode, which is not surprising given the interest rates and labor shortages

The fruitless search for nonexistent common ground instantaneously normalizes Trump. Dems should not propound the dubious assertion that Trump operates in good faith. Mouthing this platitude makes Ds look weak, foolish and unprepared to stand up to fascism
