We got our chihuahua because someone abandoned him to fend for himself in JANUARY. Which is COLD HERE. He weighed just under 4 lbs when my friends found him nearly frozen in 20F weather, and he's a big 6.5 lb boy naturally.

I give up. I hate working with this yarn, I don't like having to concentrate on each stitch of each row, the tiny cables are annoying, and even if I finish this glove I'll never make a second one. The file I was using to track rows got corrupted, and I just dropped ANOTHER stitch. Frogging. 🧶

Finished ravel.me/point-edward.... I've been so sick this was exactly the amount of complex I could handle between coughing and naps. I made them more armwarmer length so they'd fit down the big sleeves of the sweater, extreme coziness! #knitting 🧶

I wanted to use a pillow for the background of the pictures, but my dog saw pillow + lap and was certain it was for snuggling purposes.

Yesterday I cast on for ravel.me/meisi. Had to rip back something like 15 rows, and there are still some messed up parts but nothing I can't live with. This yarn (knitpicks Stroll) is a very bad choice on my part, it's way too splitty to do these stitches in. #knitting 🧶

2 years ago today we got our little doggie! He was picked up as a stray so we have no idea about his past life, just weird clues that we've put together. (His old family were exterminators???)

Took this weekend to learn brioche stitch. So squooshy! They'll look better once they're blocked, but I feel like I understand how it works now. 🧶 #knitting

Finally finished! ravel.me/holla Holla Hoodie. I will never knit another seamed sweater again, it nearly broke me and the best I could do was still bad. BUT the hood is exactly what I wanted, it's super cute and the whole thing is very warm and snuggly. Details in alt. #knitting #knitsky 🧶

I'm done with following this pattern, going it on my own. Converted the sleeves to in the round, made them straighter, matched the increases, and knitting 2 at once so if I make any mistakes they become matching design choices. 5" down, 12" to go! #knitting 🧶

Before/after lengthening his sweater. Pattern is Edinburgh Seamless Dog Sweater (Ravelry), with adjustments. I'll make him one that tapers better, I just added to the end of this one instead of reworking. My doggie does NOT like having his picture taken, but we feed him so he puts up with us.

I only took one singular blurry photo of the bracelet we made for my mother-in-law - the teen made the stone (it's ceramic) and I did the wire stuff. It's not a craft I'm going to keep doing, but I do think the result is pretty ok for an unskilled attempt.

My youngest made these, not me, the only thing I've ever crocheted was a spiraly worm bookmark thing. I just love them - they're coasters that roll up into bouquets. Pretty! Useful! More decorative than a worm! #crochet

Finished the stockings! I didn't care for the pattern and I wouldn't recommend it, but I'm happy with how they turned out, even the ones with wonky toes and double names. They are VERY BIG and still used less than half of what the pattern called for. Now I never have to do colorwork again! #knitting

I only had enough plastic card to make 2 blockers, and was using that as an excuse to not finish, which makes no sense. First two down! (Names redacted.) Yes, I know I goofed the toe on the tree, I'll fix it next year but for now it's good enough.

I do really like this hat. I wish I had seen that it DID have a gauge listed. I went down 2 needle sizes and I felt like it was too loose, but I trusted the process instead of my gut. Now I have a hat that's just *slightly* too big, but I love it anyway. natturuprjon.is/products/blo...
