I think their friendship made them feel more at ease with each other. There were no outsiders. Only themselves.

Blake is one of my favourites! This is one of the reasons I love the beats. So much of their writing process was documented by eachother. Endless photos of Ginsberg, Kerouac et al at a typewriter. Those photos move me because it feels sacred. The same way they viewed their work (much like WB)
