I have removed the IR receiver from the little light up base for that winged unicorn acrylic thing I thrifted. I had assumed it'd be soldered in. It was just stuck in a jst connector that was glued to the side of the interior.
Now what to do with the freed IR receiver.

First day back to work post-vacation and no chill. Truck showed up the same time I did, a sign for a digital coupon I had no clue about was totally missing, crap from another department in my cooler. At least I didn't miss out on the smoked bologna and smoked mac 'n' cheese.

The furry meetup at Yamacon just reminded me how much of an outsider I am. Just standing there at the edges, watching everyone socialize and not having any sort of in to any of the groups that formed. Just the weird old guy.
