I'll buck the trend and say that furry has been mainstream for a while now. The overall vibe of the community has felt mainstream for a while, and I find "Keep furry weird" means "niche fetish art" more than "absolutely bizarre individuals being shamelessly themselves".

I tend to lump it all under furry trending towards the mainstream. It feels rather different and significantly more mainstream now than when I first fell down this rabbit hole back in '02.

Marvel and DC should have dedicated video producers for their Youtube channels to produce long retrospective-style videos about various characters, which would serve as an introduction to new readers.

Tie it into new TV/movie releases - character in TV/movie? Boom, they've got a video ready.
