We have two fridges and three full size freezers. Love to cook, host most large family gatherings through the year, put up food from two large gardens, and my husband hunts and fishes. Somehow, I still have a decent sized grocery bill.

When I used it, that was only to test it with tp. That just smelled like burnt/fire smells. The homeowner is the one who described it as what you would think burning poo would smell like.

I've used one. It was scary. Bhahaha! Really, it's okay and the whole thing closes off when the fire starts. I do remember it being loud and there is a smell wherever the exhaust (if that's what it is called) is.

We eat them on salads multiple times a week.
