Correct. They suck. Edmonton and Calgary are generally progressive though—especially Edmonton.

Hey now, there are many! Banff isn't even the best of the national parks here. Both Jasper and Waterton rank above it IMO. Not to mention the incredible provincial parks like Dinosaur, Writing-on-Stone, William Switzer, Cypress Hills, Lesser Slave Lake, and many more.

Players should be able to focus on their own job/position without worrying that if they make a play and it gets turned over it will likely lead to a goal against. It neuters them offensively which leads to more time defending.

Friedman apparently mentioned something about a trade involving Skinner and Bouchard for Binnington and Parayko. Not sure if he was just speculating, but coming from him is not ideal.
