When I have said that Smith wants absolute authority to dictate every facet of your life, I meant it. She is a sociopathic megalomaniac who believes that governance exists for the exertion of power, not for the purpose of responsible stewardship.

I don’t think the Oilers have a 16-game win streak in them this year, so they better start winning more than once every 3 or 4 games. They can take all the positives they want from tonight’s game, but they still lost. Need to figure out how to get something, anything out of the bottom 6.

Oilers played great. Difference was one soft goal against and a goalie who just can’t be beat on the other side.

Oilers were playing well, took a penalty and had a good kill. THEN, Stu lets in a garbage goal and the Oilers were shit after that. Having to always play from behind after letting in softies is deflating.

No problem at all with Drai taking that penalty. Refs won’t call it, then the players will take it into their own hands.

Roslovich has been the only consistent offensive player not wearing 97 or 29 for the Oilers. Not ideal that he’ll miss several weeks.

I’m at the point where I hope Knoblauch is fired after tonight. And I hope Bowman is on the hot seat to fix the goaltending (NOT Binnington) ASAP or he can lose his job too.

Fix the fucking goaltending and the team will be better. You can’t expect guys to play confident in front of this shit. And Knob needs to realize that whatever system he’s attempting with this team is not working. 5-man breakouts, short passes, zone entries with control—this team is built for it.
