For context: The game was previously bought by Riot (League of Legends), grew bigger in scope and attempted remade in new engine, but deemed unfeasable to finish; cancelled and shut down, bought back by original creator, patched together from earlier version, released as Early Access.

Main complaint so far I think is that some enemy AI is kinda dumb in terms of pathfinding. You telling me a polar bear will not go into the water to kill me?

So far very impressed by the environments in the game. Even underwater has variety to it, and scary monsters.

The world feels interesting and alive to explore. Has very many quality-of-life features missing from other big block game. Interesting progression system and resource balancing. Nothing feels like a chore yet. Very nice proc-gen, both above and underground. Feels juicy and polished.
