The ‘Squelcher’, a primordial nest of worm-like creatures—operating as a collective organism.

It is a legend of the ancient SE universe, before the Rhyno era. Its mask - a faux face - is made from bone of its digested prey.

This was such a fun chapter to write. Taking a break from the war to visit Declanian home life was something I really wanted to do and combining it with Kele’s dismissal was perfect timing for it.
