2/ Everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy seeing a film in a theater in a way that makes sense for them. Meeting the needs of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community is vital to ensure that everyone has fair, equitable access to going to the movies & having fun family & community experiences.

3/ We have seen and heard too many reports of inadequate food, overcrowding, and issues with medical care at ICE facilities. Every person deserves dignity and proper care in custody.

2/ ICE should not transfer any more individuals to the facility until we know more. ICE should also ensure that any detained individuals who may have valuable information regarding the death have their removals paused during this review.

5/ ICE should immediately return these high school students and their parents home to Detroit so they can continue to learn, work and grow without the fear and violence they fled. Immigrants and asylum seekers are deserving of safety and dignity.

4/ Kerly, Antony, Mor, and Santiago, along with their parents, are simply following the legal process and trying to gain asylum as they seek a better life in Detroit.

3/ These young people and their parents arrived in the United States from Venezuela or Senegal and all have pending asylum cases. The students are all following the immigration process and not a risk to public safety.
