I started at a new school in the Easter responsible for ICT DT History and Geography (small school) two weeks in and the boss tells me to expect a visit from HMI who was in the area looking at ICT. It was a proper grilling, questioned everything, but she took away all my policy and curriculum docs.

And it always tickled me when inspectors looked at me like I was Einstein for saying it. They spend too much time on inspections, and not enough time actually looking for good practice.
