In fairness, the fact there are vaccine sceptics means doubt about vaccines *does* exist, including amongst people with medical qualifications.

It doesn't mean those doubts are well-founded, but the BBC is required to tread a very fine line.

I understand the sentiment, but prefer the opposite (server-centric) approach. Something like Livewire (Laravel), LiveView (Phoenix), or Hotwire means I can have a reactive app without the overhead of a JS frontend.

If you're using a JS frontend and a non-JS backend, then I would assume the frontend is consuming data via an API (unless you're using something like Inertia).

If that's the case, I'm confused. You can't directly call a backend method from the frontend, so what definition are you hoping to go to?
