Antifa reinforcements disembark from a landing barge at Normandy during the Allied invasion of France on D-Day.

You have to be a fascist to have a problem with antifa, and present a clear and present danger to democracy if you believe their then enemy of America.

I'm expecting with all this massive spend on AI data centers, that when the accountants look at revenue directly attributed to AI, and not an existing revenue stream where AI is riding shotgun, most of these AI business units are going to run in the red so long they'll get dismantled and repurposed.

Listen, if I get that fixed, all of this will be ok. I mean, we have to try, right?

Jane Goodall was one of my heros. I will never read enough about her.

“You’ve just got to be calm and tell stories, and get people to change from within.”
Jane Goodall’s Second-Greatest Talent
She knew how to wield her fame to protect the animals she loved.

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

Last one I'll ever buy. I liked the truck (same as the GMC Acadia), but it was a mechanical gong show. Sunroof leaked into the headliner, then poured into the cabin and behind the dash - torched the instruments and grew mold under the carpets. Wiper blades kept coming loose and stopped working. 0/10

GM USA had an active GeoCities presence...

(It was Twitter - 2007 Outlook. Never buy the first model year of anything)

Second only to the great friends I've made from all corners of the planet, most of whom I've never actually met but hope to one day. I've had some incredible writers encourage and support me in my writing, something I didn't really have in my local real life circle, for which I'm eternally grateful.

I had a Saturn Outlook SUV that leaked like a sieve when it rained (ceiling filled with water then flooded the interior when braking). I couldn't get anywhere with the local dealer. I complained online and GM USA reached out to me, called my dealer, and made them complete major repairs on the truck.

A disturbingly easy way to get yelled at is to say that women should be in the paid workforce.
stephensmith.bsky.social
Suggest women deserve equal pay if you really want to escalate that conflict. #theydo

I'll never understand how people find providing negative feedback so easy, and positive feedback so hard, when it's the positive feedback that always, always improves the situations long term.

Memories are transient things, mutable with time and through the lens of experience. Bad ones burn in, form scars, and those once good, like a love turned on you, tarnish and crumble; warm embraces to dust, certainties to ash. They get smaller, I guess, to make room for what's next.

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (1992) Dir. David Lynch- Reviled at release, now seen as one of Lynch’s best. This prequel dives into the truly dark, not safe for TV- underbelly of Twin Peaks, exploring trauma, secrets, and the horrors of Laura's last week. Haunting and unsettling -essential Lynch.🎞️📽️🎬

Sending all the positive vibes Lynn for a smooth surgery and complete and rapid recovery. Glad you’ve got a liver specialist, and not some line cook with a side of onions, mashed potatoes and gravy!
