I *think* I'm pretty decent at queries, pitches, and log lines (got my agent cold querying!). My agent does the sub letters these days, but I still write a pitch to help me figure out what a story is about #KidLitChat

Is Perry's goal getting his friends to wear PJs? I think what's missing for me is the emotional stakes. How does Perry feel about the fact that his friends aren't into PJs? How do *his friends* feel about the PJs? What does Perry gain if he gets his friends to do PJs too?
