Alphabetical Action Animals: a series.

Let's embark on our quest with an Aardvark Adventurer.

#blender #aardvark
A simple Blender render, in which our be-snooted hero faces the sunrise and sets off into the wilds, holding their trusty sword aloft. They're wearing a brown tunic, with an apple shield on their back. A closer look at the same character, from the front so that you can see their cool little ant brooch.

I finally got the good ending! But only after dying repeatedly to:

- spiderbumdeath
- bonegone horsefright
- blunt force decapitation
- tractor implosion

Game of the year. No notes.

BEHOLD!

My first ever choose-your-own-adventure game!

"i will strangle a horse" - over seven and a half thousand words of absolute nonsense, as you help Martin Jenkins on his first day at The Farm.

Totally free to play! I mean, you can pay, but you can also not!

Clumpws enjoys curling up in a wet, leafy mound with a good book and a family-sized bag of mulch or a chippy tea (“ wood chips, that is!”). Be careful when clearing out that woodpile. Clumpws might be in there absorbed in a Ken Follett.

Why would I want to release my nervous system? Have you seen one of those things?
An Instagram advert for an exercise programme that promises to "Release your nervous system and get rid of stubborn tightness - in just 15 minutes". A preserved human nervous system mounted in a glass museum case, eyes and all, staring blankly at the floor. To be fair, it's what mine would probably do if I let it wander around on its own.

And So I Watch You From Afar. Immense, joyous noise in a tiny, sweaty basement. Shout out to the brave souls attempting to crowdsurf under the Hug's low, sticky ceiling. 🫡
ASIWYFA on stage at the Hug & Pint. The band are playing a quiet bit, and the audience are all crouching down for reasons I don't understand. Is this what the kids do at gigs these days? Anyway, it looks like something culty's going on. The band's bassist, who appears to still be playing whilst having a little crowdsurf. The ceiling is low and full of obstacles (lights, cables, aircon vents), so he's perilously close to braining himself on a lighting rig. An audience member attempting to crowdsurf. He's wedged between his friend's shoulders and the low ceiling.

Stranded on Arran for an extra day because it's too windy to run the ferry. It's not all bad, though.
A small cardboard tub piled high with ice cream, sitting on a picnic table next to a beach. There's a few ships anchored in the bay in the distance, including the ferry that should have been halfway to Troon with us on it at the time.

We've gone on holiday by mistake. 🌧️
A very wet and disgruntled whippet, standing on a beach and glowering up at the camera. He's wearing a soggy orange raincoat.

Good news: I've started working on the No Man's Guy again, and finally got the jetpack to print! (It's the wrong way round, but after 5 attempts I'll take it)

Bad news: I now have to figure out how to make the lights a) work, and b) fit inside. Thoughts and prayers are appreciated at this time.
Some electronics (a small battery, control board, and some LEDs) lying on a green cutting mat next to a little 3D printed jetpack - as yet grey and unpainted.

Blender's also great for stuff like this. Can't think about the Horrors if every braincell in your head is at capacity trying to sculpt a silly little guy. 👍

knitting and crochet are really good for burying your head in the sand when it's all too much and you need to just Not for a bit, i strongly recommend it

Hello, I would like to report a ✨birb crime✨

The local magpies are teaching their younglings to ransack my garden in various ways. Not content with their usual petty vandalism, today's lesson is Blueberry Heist.
Two magpies on a wooden bench. One stands on the arm, reaching to pinch a blueberry off a bush. The other stands by, presumably keeping lookout, and eager to learn the art of avian crime.

I made one that raided my pantry. 🧶

I worry about this dog sometimes. It's 27°C outside, and yet the heat-seeking idiot still stands by his bed forlornly until I tuck him in under his heftiest blanket.
Jake (a white whippet) in his bed. Only his eyes and snoot are visible, peeking out from under a thick, brown furry blanket. He has achieved maximum cosiness, which would be fine if we weren't in the middle of a heatwave.

11. King Kiwi. I know we're not into kings at the moment, but can we make an exception for this guy? 👑
King Kiwi, a regal little potato, sitting on his wooden throne. Above him is a stained-glass window, which bears his kiwi fruit emblem.

Hello from Tom's accidentally kawaii walnut sourdough.
A round, crusty loaf of bread cooling on a wire rack. The crust is split in a cross shape across the top, and the sticky-up corners look like cat ears. I've drawn a crude cat face onto the photo.

I needed white spray paint for Kermit's eyes. The Warhammer shop was the easiest place to get it, and now all I can think of is painting wee space guys.

Happy birthday! 🥳
I offer you Jake the Cheese Wizard, attempting to mind-control a mortal into surrendering sustenance.
A whippet with a grey blanket draped across his back. He's standing next to a man sat at a table, and gazing hopefully at his lunch.

Kermit's finally finished! He didn't turn out looking completely cursed! Yaaaaay! *flails*

I'm sure I've posted Godspeed You! Black Emperor's amp before, but it bears repeating.
A guitar speaker cab with pink tape stuck across it. The words "transphobes eat shit and die alone" are written on the tape.
