The skin colour remark, which had been criticised by Chris Philp and Mel Stride was, I think the moment she could have acted, and instead she did chummy shout-outs to him in her conference speech. There was a window then when she would have had the freedom to do so.

We are just watching episode 4 now. Loving how complex all of the characters are. No binary ‘good or bad’ BS.
