Will give it a watch when its available but I'm curious whether it justifies any of these creative choices

Reading good things about Radu Jude's Dracula but can't help thinking a lot of these thematic aims are easily articulated without the use of AI

Getting ready for a week off from work and debating if I want to grab one of these...

A hardware issue at work knocked out our servers for the entirety of Monday afternoon and almost the whole of Tuesday

As fun as it was to sit in a cube and do nothing, the backlog of work is about to hit and I can't do this for a third day in a row 😰

Really does seem like anyone willing to stand behind that OL should sign a waiver and make peace with whatever God they believe in

Really says something that they went for Flacco and not Russ

Bengals went from Top 4 QB in the league to the second worst and now traded for the actual worst

NEWS: The Bengals are trading for Browns QB Joe Flacco, sources tell @diannarussini.bsky.social.

Cleveland is also trading a sixth-round pick and will receive a fifth rounder in return.

Ive seen a lot of movies this year that don't look as good as this one random King of the Hill screenshot

Another change of pose because I can't help myself. Just an unbelievably beautiful kit.

You can also see where the top of the hinge on the face mask broke. Makes the transformation sequence very tricky

This weekend showed us that there will be no 17-0 team this NFL season l

But the Jets have showed us that there still might be an 0-17 team

okay friends, we are now just a scant $71 and 7 backers away from our next stretch goal — upgraded paper stock on ALL BOOKS — with only 9 days left

if you’ve been curious about the campaign but haven’t checked it out yet, NOW is the time, before the NYCC madness

That's a good point! And to that end, you could just as easily say futbol is the happy medium between definitive, and intricate football rules and slow contemplation of baseball to again arrive at a kind of pragmatism that couples theory and practice more naturally than both

I also admittedly know very little about basketball and soccer and needed a third for the bit lol
stevebaxi.bsky.social
From what I've seen of the Premier League, it feels more akin to basketball to me where the season is long and the most important factor is how your standing is impacted game by game relative to Baseball which feels like an endless meditation in a stadium setting or football that's endless replays

Football: define "catch"

Baseball: what is life?

Soccer: did you win?

Thinking out loud here:

Football is analytic philosophy

Baseball is continental philosophy

Soccer is pragmatism

Was listening to NFL daily on the way to work and heard someone say its like the Eagles weekly game plan is to listen to the talk show narrative and not adapt to changing circumstances at all. And honestly? That sounds sounds correct

Yesterday was a great day for my "everyone loves the Bills and Eagles but even when they win, they have serious problems that will bite them in the ass" take

Abysmal start to this Bills/Patriots game

Looked away for a moment and suddenly it was 2nd and 33 for the Chargers! What on earth

Light movie weekend because of family visiting but some solid watches
