Finally watched the Springsteen movie and goddamn did it hit me like a ton of bricks.

But also consider Inside Llewyn Davis is one of my favorite films ever. With that context, yeah totally checks out.

After reading issue 12, Star Wars: Legacy of Vader is one of the best stories told in that universe and began to fix just how badly Disney blew it with Kylo Ren. Emotional arc, confronting ones flaws and broken pieces, it's legit incredible. As always, amazing work @charlessoule.bsky.social

I was at my local comic shop grabbing the new batman and while flipping back issues I discovered @garywhitta.bsky.social wrote the Marvel Last Jedi adaptation? Had to grab that whole run too. Love me some Gary, love me some Last Jedi.

I bet Josh Topolsky goes into a murderous rage whenever he sees that the verge is paywalled now. And he should.

I had this sitting there for like a year or two and then Chris started using his so I said fuck it me too because if we go down we go down together. Gonna be updating this more now especially since I'm back in a big movie phase

Matrix Reloaded with a like a group of 15-20 high school friends, everyone felt like they got shit on afterwards.

Or smoking 2 joints with my dad before Adventureland - one of our shared favorite movies.

Also leaving Inside Llewyn Davis with a bandmate, both speechless like we were in Vietnam
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

This isn't much of a hot take but if you're in your 30s testing out gear you should know your guitar center etiquette by then - place needs a penalty box or something

Could really go for an episode of AEW Rampage right about now, it'd be nice to have some solid Friday night wrestling again.

@jerf.xyz - was so excited to hear Jordan bring up Ink + Dagger in the bonus dump, one of the greatest most chaotic and favorite of mine ever. Once started a riot by throwing yogurt at earth crisis at Middlesex county college lol. If you want the files DM me, would love your take, esp as an alk3 guy

Turns out 17 years ago today I took a train after class at Temple up to Manhattan by myself for what I thought would be my only chance at ever seeing my bloody valentine. Little did I know, but don't regret a fucking thing. Here's an iphone 3g photo of it lol
