Eleven weeks after surgery for a busted hip I'm finally getting back to biking outside. Did nearly 23 miles today. Yesterday I managed about 15 miles. As luck would have it, we might get some snow this weekend.

On Earth Day yesterday, Central Oregon Rivian Club partnered with Deschutes Land Trust to reduce densities of Lodgepole Pine at their Paulina Creek Preserve, located approximately 30 miles south of Bend. Our efforts helped mitigate wildfire risks while promoting the growth of Ponderosa Pines.

It was a beautiful day for skiing today at Mt. Bachelor.

I'm boycotting the Super Bowl this year. Not watching it! Why? 1.) Because of the NFL's capitulation to the current administration by removing the "End Racism" slogan in the end zone. 2.) The presence of a certain person (not Taylor Swift) at the game. 3.) Eagles beat my team in the NFCCG.

Right now, Senate Dems can do three things:
1. Blanket opposition
2. Quorum calls
3. Block unanimous consent

Finally got off my butt and went for a skate ski for the first time in two seasons. Only remembered to take a picture as I was leaving the parking lot. Oh well, maybe next time!
