Preordering this, and so should you. I’ve read a lot of bad hyped up books the last few weeks, with a record number of DNF’s for me, but I’m 100% certain that’s not going to happen here because everything Greg Gifune writes is always a gem.

I hear Black House doesn’t hide its Dark Tower connections. Talisman felt like a whole bunch of early Dark Tower ideas and concepts done badly. I actually read Black House 24 years ago and don’t remember a damn thing about it. Not sure if that bodes well.

I liked the character Wolf, but that’s about it. Took me a month to get through this book, and I wish I could get that month back.

Would have liked one more season to flesh out Dr. Jekyll’s story, which barely got touched on, but I’m happy with what we got. Eva Greene was ready to go, and her Vanessa Ives was the soul of the show. Ending still destroys me.
