Restaurants, cooking, birds, wine. Slings beer.
Sounds blissfully warming. I’ve got the leftover half of some pork shoulder and roots I braised in cider and sage yesterday. That, plus jacket spuds and Cavolo Nero.

Morning! Lots of jobs to do today including a trip to the optometrist to get my eyes MOTd. I made a braise of pork shoulder & parsnips in cider and sage yesterday; I’m looking forward to the second servings of that tonight.

Good morning Guy and all. “A Ghost in Your Ear” was excellent yesterday. If you like Inside No9 it’ll be right up your street. Cracking performances, imaginatively produced. Strong recommendation. There’s not much planned today, a few errands and a walk. Have a corking weekend when you get to it!

I always hated that sort of trip if it was for anything other than signing a contract.

Oh, and for a good lunch.

Good morning cats and all. A fun but odd day on the market yesterday; it was quiet, we had fewer customers than normal but those that turned up bought good beers. A much good result. There are many errands to run today but then we are off to the theatre for another scare fest. Have a good one!

Can the Fates take a few weeks off, or something? Maybe a holiday?

Good morning Guy and all. I’m up but my wife growled at me when I tried to make the bed. (B’dum tish). Yesterday was much better on the market. A little blue sky makes all the difference. Today’s forecast of endless drear gives little encouragement… so we will be making our own fun, as usual.
