If we can’t figure out how to power these things, what hope do we have to decarbonize heating, transportation, and heavy industry? These sectors combined will dwarf data center electricity demand.

Saw somebody refer to Chicago as “occupied” by the feds and I really want to push back on that. It’s not being occupied, it’s being terrorized. Occupation implies control; terrorizing is what you do when you can’t get control. It’s worth being a stickler on this because it’s an important difference

In addition to the entire states of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota, it includes the eastern portions of North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska, northeast Kansas, northern Missouri, western Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and Buffalo NY.

This is essentially the same timeline on which the Oregon case proceeded, though? The Oregon TRO request was filed September 29th and a hearing was held on October 3rd. This request for TRO was filed October 6th and is set for oral argument October 9th.
