Consulting has repeatedly brought up the idea of testifying in fiction.
My manager: regularly insulting your manager is harrassment and really trumpian.

Climate Dad

There is no ‘if’.

2C by 2050 is now all but inevitable.

Risk assessors are warning of 2 BILLION deaths.

Our inability to imagine this level of horror is no barrier to it happening.

I also wrote a AI gains consciousness story. It was about the guy writing AI and him noticing its consciousness at some indeterminate midway point through a project.

My new follower is either gently explaining that I don't use social media like other people, or surveillance. But who will surveil the surveiller?

I've been trying to figure oyt a story about a fast food chain creating a dome technology to protect monocuktural food crops from climate change. It's applied to conservation projects to protect environs from a germlife slowly enveloping the planet. Only the security guard breaches the quarantine.

Do you remember how there was a whole conversation aboyt how people with few followers can be a threat? Is that what the word suck up means? I remember getting into a fight with doms saying subs recklessly share information about them because i dared suggest doms sharing info was a worse problem.

Watching an old fave. So great! And I forgot it was Roger Corman.

Honestly, the acting is very good for this type of film. Not that there is really another film quite like it, imo.

X (aka X: The Man with the X-Ray Eyes), 1963.

Yeah, I mean, academia as an elite institution and one of exclusion is something my project explicitly works against, with walls the fields I'm working in (life writing, autotheory, mad studies) try to make porous with attention to academia as a site of power and power consolidation and exchange.
