It's weird how some treat art like it's this innate talent only certain people can utilize. Anyone can make art & like with anything in life it takes practice to get good at. I think the only thing that prevents people from making art is themselves.

Libraries are humanities finest achievement, and the last place on earth you can get that old Blockbuster wanderlust browsing experience.

Go pick up a movie or some manga or a book or use their 3D printers for a mini or check out a sewing machine kit, like, they have so much stuff at libraries now

yes! but also even the most seemingly mundane person has an intricate story. but also it’s okay to be perfectly normal. but also what is normal.
Least believable thing about Greek mythology is how every character is important and has an intricate story. No regular guys at all. Zeus should have a brother named Steve who just works at the agora and that's his whole thing

i taught my first journaling class of the winter session last night. being able to create a space for people to freely create and express themselves felt amazing. trying to hold on to that.

NOW: More than 98% of #Costco shareholders have just rejected an anti-DEI measure

The attempt to force Costco to audit their #DEI work was by an anti-inclusion lobby group:

"The proponent's broader agenda is not reducing risk for the Company but abolition of diversity initiatives." - Costco Board
