Made pumpkin spice cookies with cream cheese flavored icing tonight.
My first time making or using royal icing. Holy shit, it's nowhere near as easy (or clean) as the professionals make it look.

I entered a baking competition at my daughter's school, it's tomorrow for their Fall Festival.
These are supposed to be pumpkin spiced cookies that I would top with cream cheese flavored icing.
I didn't realize until I was taste testing the first of these that I forgot to put the pumpkin spice in.
