It blows my mind there seems to be no difference between "the discussion of" a historically relevant murder and a picture of a man grimacing in pain as he is actively being murdered being shared for Internet points.

Never thought this is the hill I would die on but I guess I'm the asshole.

At the same time, I would not question someone asking that it not be shared on social media because of its impact on them.

I don't think it's great to show pictures of murdered bodies either, but sure there's a distinction between the two.

Call me what you want. I've seen friends shot in front of me. I don't want to see pictures of other real people being as they're being shot.
