A continuing Happy Christmas to you all! We are holding our usual Sunday services tomorrow, at 8am, 10:30am and 3:30pm. All are very welcome, whether you are a regular here, or just need a break from the turkey.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Day yesterday, and a well-deserved rest today. St Mary's Cathedral is mostly closed until Sunday 4th January, only opening for services:

- 8am Morning Prayer daily;
- and usual service times on Sunday 28th.

Christmas Eve is here! With our Nine Lessons and Carols Service at 7:30pm, and Midnight Mass at 11:30pm, with lots of superb singing from our famous Cathedral Choir.

Booking advised for both, and queues begin early for Nine Lessons (from at least 6:45pm).

Tomorrow is the final Sunday of Advent, as we end our season of waiting before the joy of Christmas Day. All are welcome to our services, with Benedicite Youth Choir joining our lay clerks in the morning for music by Victoria. And at 3:30pm, our quieter service Silent Night, Holy Night.

Remember, if you're planning to come to our Nine Lessons and Carols, we strongly recommend you reserve a spot. We are expecting about 1000 congregants at each service, and there might not be many places left on the night.

Christmas can be a tough time for many people. For those who are lonely, grieving, or just not as cheerful as the world demands. This Sunday at 3:30pm, we are holding our Silent Night, Holy Night service, a quiet service of readings, poetry and music.

Our Cathedral Choir is visiting Paisley Abbey today, along with St Giles Cathedral Choir, to sing our regular joint Choral Evensong at 5pm. Do join us all if you're nearby!

Our own 3:30pm Evensong is replaced by Evening Prayer.
