It's amazing how 3.5 years is basically the threshold at which some things mostly approach the threshold of not mattering [though maybe you feel silly at how slow you were to update, even if others egged you on hard at the time]

It took a lot to get me to get sleep apnea surgery (including COVID, which made remote appointments possible from WA, and way easier in WA than MA), but this was one of the most consequential decisions I ever made in my life. Even if it didn't completely cure it.
