In Stoicism, there is an emphasis/encouragement of picking an idol you feel embodies what you believe and the life you want to lead. Preferably, they are someone you know, and I have many fine people in my life, but no one I’d feel inspired to emulate. So instead, I’m choosing Jasmine Crockett.

My favorite video from the LA Protests was by far the one where a bunch of cops were on top of a building n the protesters below were chanting “JUMP”. And one of the officers thought they were saying “Trump” and was clapping along…and then right as they realize n stop someone shouts “DO A FLIP”.

Every flashbang could instead be a meal for a poor kid. Every hotel room for a National Guardsman deployed to fire at our neighbors could house a homeless vet. Every "less-than-lethal" bullet pulled from a journalist's eye could be already needed healthcare for anyone else. All of this is a choice.

The argument that questioning the 2024 results is denying America’s racism is TIRED. It also assumes that the fight for racial justice and women’s rights ends with a black female president. NO. Trump is a KNOWN ELECTION FRAUDSTER. IT’S NOT CRAZY TO ASK QUESTIONS.

I hate the way this party uses the trauma of survivors like me for their own ends. They use the very clear and present violence against women at the hands of men to sling mud at each other, and to vilify immigrants and trans women to pass bigoted scapegoat policy. Trump is so weak, it is obvious his regime is stacked with Elon Musk and Peter Thiel loyalists who will overthrow him if he overplays his hand. If he had any backbone he’d get a new FBI director and arrest Musk / Thiel and the project 2025 conspirators. Trump will bend the knee.

We shouldn’t get too invested in this feud between Musk/Trump…but I also think any truce between them would be temporary. The egos are too big. Trump and his tariffs. Musk and his Nazi BS. Both of them think they are untouchable and infallible, even when sales/stocks say otherwise.

Everyone says “delete X” and I get it, but we wouldn’t have this feud if it weren’t for the anti-Trumpers over there. Musk is losing it publicly and privately because the bullying is getting to him, and I think that is more valuable than boycotting a company that is already losing money.
