I wish I wasn’t spending time posting about things I have no control over. I don’t want my time and energy to be siphoned away by the political outrage machine that never sleeps. But right now I’m having trouble sleeping myself. Our state and local governments appear to remain intact.

My fellow Americans, our federal government is no longer operating in accordance with the US constitution. Congress may cease to function except when the president requires it, and the Supreme Court exists primarily to cut away existing laws that hinder the executive branch.
Congress basically doesn’t exist at this point

Bad news but it’s encouraging to see brave journalism. This needs to be called out in every instance of it happening. Anti-fascism has been outlawed and the DHS is deliberately putting out Pro-fascist content.

Ok, I am over 100 hours into Hollow Knight Silksong, at 98% completion and have only 3 items and the Act 3 ending remaining. I can't believe I did this with this stupid hard game. I don't 100% games, ever, this will be the first. It is so difficult but I love this game. IT WAS ONLY $20 DOLLARS!

I intentionally didn’t play Hollow Knight after discovering it, thinking I would get to it eventually. Silksong came out, and I decided it’s time to try the original. It is a very demanding game but so brilliant at the same time. I am enjoying it very much, and now have 2 games to get through!

Now that I’ve made it a few weeks I’m still having some strangeness after quitting nicotine. It might be that I have also quit THC and alcohol, and now nicotine is gone too and I feel like I have nothing anymore. All my old comforts are gone and off limits.

I still have a lot to learn to bring out the capabilities of Logic Pro. I am sharing some of the work I’ve done with it as mainly a progress note for myself. There is so much I don’t know yet. I hope with time my tracks will sounds less raw and more polished.

I’ve been able to get into a flow writing music lately. Specifically, I’m able to work for longer periods refining things I’ve already started. If I open a project and push play I start working almost automatically. Feeling the creative spark to compose new work comes and goes.
