Love the fiber arts: knit, crochet, and RH weaving. Am doing my best to stay informed, believe that no one in the U.S. can be apolitical now, but also need to breathe deep and dive into creativity as much as possible. It's a delicate balance.

What a surprise these towels were. They sat on my finishing pile for 4 months because I thought they were too thin. But when wet finished, they became my favorites! #rigidheddle #weaving

I had big plans to weave a 3-panel throw this winter, but with the hubs in the hospital this past month, and settling in to the winter place, it has been slow going.

I had big plans to weave a 3-panel throw this winter, but with the hubs in the hospital this past month, and settling in to the winter place, it has been slow going.
My first attempt at weaving 3 panels is going slowly this winter. I am using Great British wool I have had in my stash for years! It is simple plain weave, but I am thinking I may put a stripe on either edge. I know it will full, so it may only be a lap throw.

My first attempt at convection baking. If at first you don't succeed, lower the temp and give it another 5 minutes.
