Settings > Apps > Safari > Tabs.
Choose Bottom, get your buttons back.
The Safari “Tabs” UI settings. The options are compact, bottom, and top. Each has an illustration of the different UIs on an iPhone. “Bottom” has a large control area at the bottom of the screen. Headline: "No. 1 scofflaw scoffs at law once again" Text: A WARRANT for the arrest of Gerald Cooper, 28, Chicago's number one traffic scofflaw, who was fined $14,500 in May, was issued Monday by Presiding Judge Richard LaFevour of Traffic Court. Archival scan of a newspaper article, part 2. Text: Cooper, of 1660 N. LaSalle St., failed to appear in court Fri'ay, when he was supposed to pay the first $1,000 of his fine. The fine was imposed for ignoring 780 parking tickets issued for his car between 1973 and 1977. When arrested, Cooper, who is unemployed, was given 30 days in which to pay the first $1,000 of the fine and ordered to pay $200 a month for five years and seven months. THE FINE WAS imposed hy Judge Richard Dowdle of Traffic Court after Cooper pleaded guilty to failing to pay the parking tick-ets-67 of which were issued in 1973, 83 in 1974, 131 in 1975, 369 in 1976, and 130 in 1977. Cooper was identified as the city's leading traffic scofflaw by a computer in June, 1977, but it took police almost a year to track him down.
