@doggett.house.gov In San Juan, Puerto Rico the US Army Corps of Engineers is about to convert over 6 miles of the Rio Piedras into a concrete canyon in the name of flood control. In May I toured some of the neighborhoods that will be impacted.

What is war like? This is Kregg Jorgenson who was shot while CBS News was filming in Vietnam in 1970. In this interview, 45 years later, he talks about that day and after.

Scary & sobering.

I hope we are not about to send more young people to get shot far from home.

I know that this has been discussed already, but health insurance in the USA is crazy. My insurance decided that my medicine was too expensive, so they forced my Dr to move me to a generic, which still costs $thousands. I'm supposed to pay part, but the drug co has a program that pays for me.

My kid works as a host, and she got Karened pretty hard yesterday. A woman told her she had nice hair, and then as my kid walked away, the lady grabbed her ponytail. The lady's husband told her that it was not ok, and then the woman turned to my kid and said, "Oh you don't mind, do ya honey?"

this has been published for over a week. somehow we are all just finding out about this. when an entire administration begins to target a marginalized community to erasure at a voluptuous degree, stories like this go under the radar.

SHAME on mainstream media for not making this story known.

Remembering the first day of my college seminar on the reign of King Charles I

The eminent professor asked us who has sovereignty in the USA

We all said “the President”

He cackled and said, “No! It’s the people, you authoritarians! It’s in the goddamn Constitution!!”

I never forgot that
