This is more like it. Starting to experiment with production, different instrumentation, and some heartbreaking lyrics. Not surprising that Pet Sounds would soon follow. #SundayMorningMusic

Having a Beach Boys morning. I love Pet Sounds, of course, but there’s a bunch of other albums around that time I’ve never dug into. All with a luscious Sunday morning sound. #SundayMorningMusic

Picked this up yesterday. One of the joys of running a record stall is that I buy albums blind and if I don’t like them, I sell them. A jazz compilation from an Italian label. Three discs, having done one side, it might be a little far out for my taste #SundayMorningMusic

Early start for my #SundayMorningMusic. Dr. John has long been a favourite since a mate had a cassette of In The Right Place when I was a student. He made a lot of albums, but this was a really strong late one.

A young Asian man takes a picture of my wall and tells me he’s going to listen to them all because I must like them so much to hang them up. He’s got quite the musical ride coming!! #sellingvinyl

A music recommendation from my #SundayMorningMusic. In Search Of Amelia Earhart by Plainsong. This is a new album to me, and I’m loving it. Think: early Neil Young, or Easy Chair by The Byrds, but British.
