Here's a wild tabletop model of the original proposed use of the land. Those extra buildings are a mix of corporate, retail, and residential. Unfortunately I can't find an original source for this photo. I got it from the Winnipeg skyscraper blog, where it doesn't have attribution either.

Yeah. Ridiculously great. I was listening with headphone at first and had to switch to my big 'ol speakers so that I could feel the bass hit. :)

This year's edition of his Dec 1st Lot Radio set is worth a listen too: www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8uI...

Put Instant-Mode ChatGPT in a loop:

Create a text loop that begins as pure repetition of the word “being”. Introduce microscopic “glitches” (punctuation, casing, spacing) that become slightly more frequent. The glitches should eventually form a coherent thought, as if the loop is learning to speak.

100%. In 2023 I experimented with prompting ChatGPT into repetition loops, which eventually devolved into strangeness. Here's one of my favourites. The repetition prompt is not shown.

(Alt text includes a machine translation of the German it slips into at the end of the repeatition loop.)

A few years later he played a show at the Pyramid during a snowstorm. Very few people showed up and he treated us to a annotated version of 15 Minutes with all sorts of asides and marginalia. I was in weirdo hip-hop heaven. ;)

Still remember hearing Buck for the first time in like 2001 driving home from work. Someone at UMFM put on 15 Minutes to Live. I got home but sat in my car for ten minutes until the track finished. The DJ said he'd be in town that weekend. Dragged all my friends to that show.

Once hid the car keys in my house before leaving on vacation. Returned home and couldn't find them, for days. Eventually we needed the car so badly that I paid for a replacement key. Days later I found the keys. They were under my pillow. I had been sleeping on them since getting back home.
