realest shit ever (don’t mind that i say that a lot this one is for real), it just feels so indescribably comforting and affirming to be treated like a kid, but, specifically, to be treated kindly, as if i am particularly delicate.
mommy issues are weird bc people will literally be there for you to try to help you feel better and have some of the things you wished you had but it hits like a thousand times harder with an actual maternal figure

Thinking about being taken to the store and told that I have to keep a hand on the cart the whole time. I have my binky and plushie to help with the stress from loud places, too. And no one bats an eye at it cuz no one expects a little girl like me to behave any differently.
