icymi that high memorization is how people recovered the claude "soul document," the ethical guidelines baked-in during training. and imo part of why we see the anthropic models refuse to behave like grok/xai

inverse document frequency is the wrong tool for traversing and searching a natural language space. like, keyword spam doesn't let you triangulate a synonym based on related words, moods, or intent. or find an article based on the context of its publication rather than the exact words of its content

the llm inline completions were doa with aws codewhisperer and haven't gotten better since. i finally just had to turn them off in jetbrains when they snuck them in in an update

like, if i'm coding i know the domain and i don't need iffy inline completion lurking under the tab key
